Ed Rooney

Ed Rooney is a seasoned executive recruiter with a strong background in private equity, investment banking, and financial services. Before joining Newhouse + Noblin, Ed co-founded a boutique search firm where he built client relationships nationwide, drove business development, and successfully placed top talent.

Earlier in his career, Ed served as Managing Partner at TD Newland Executive Search, where he led searches for private equity firms and investment banks. His track record includes partnerships with bulge-bracket, elite boutique, and middle-market investment firms, giving him unique insight into the talent needs of clients across the financial spectrum.

Ed began his career in law, earning his J.D. from New York Law School and working with Cooper & Dunham LLP on intellectual property matters. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University, where he majored in Finance and minored in Business Law. Ed is now based in Los Angeles.
